With the release of macOS 10.15 (aka Catalina), Apple has stopped supporting 32-bit applications on this new OS. If you have Office 2011, we recommend you upgrade to Office 365 or Office 2019.
Like Office 2016, 2011, 2008, etc., Office 2019 is a one-time cost perpetual license. It will work for as long as it takes a future release of macOS to break it. If you need to install Office on even only two computers (and with 365, that can be up to any six computers you want Mac, Windows, iOS), the subscription version is cheaper. Microsoft support said that support for MS Office 2011 has not ended. So it is supported on macOS Sierra. Office for Mac Home and Student 2011. You can import your Outlook 2011 data to the new version of Outlook. Important: An Outlook for Mac 2011 identity can only be imported into an empty Outlook for Mac profile. An empty profile is one where there are no other accounts or other data associated with it.
Here are the steps to create a new profile in Outlook for Mac: Note: These steps must be used with Outlook 2016 for Mac or Outlook 2019 for Mac.
Add a profile in Outlook for Mac
From Finder, open the Applications folder.
Ctrl+click or right-click Microsoft Outlook, and then select Show Package Contents.
Open Contents > SharedSupport, and then launch Outlook Profile Manager.
Select Create a new profile and then enter a name for the new profile.

- If you ONLY have MS Office 2011, then the App Store will ignore your Office, as updates for 2011 don't come through the App Store, and only come through the Office update app. Yes - you can't use Office 2011. 2011 has not had ANY updates for a couple of years.
- Catalina and Microsoft Office Compatabiity. Both Office 2016 and Office 2019 for Mac will run under Catalina. Office 2011 no longer does.

Once the new profile is created, you can import your Outlook 2011 database. Go to this article Import email messages, contacts, and other items into Outlook for Mac and select the Import identities from Outlook for Mac 2011 drop down. Follow the steps to complete the import.
